Cattleya 2021 Beyond the Threshold Chardonnay

This coastal Chardonnay is youthful with pale lemon green hues, introducing a fresh aromatic profile of crisp stone fruit, crushed white flowers and red apple skin. As the wine is swirled on the glass, hints of toasted almonds and vanilla bean from the élevage in French oak barrels arise. Driven by acidity, this special wine is somehow weightless while showing great density and concentration. It dances across the palate, with flavors of lemon meringue, orange peel and pear flesh, perfectly balancing minerality with beautiful texture and a long finish.
